Language Networks for Excellence

LNfE required a full website and CRM system integration that would allow them to monitor, track and convert customers easily. Here's how we did it.

Language Networks for Excellence (LNfE) is a small, busy project with a rapidly expanding customer base and product range that needed to be effectively and easily managed.

LnFe charactersThe company had customer records stored in many different locations in both electronic and paper formats and these needed to be brought together in one central database that everyone could use, but importantly, allowed staff to record their interaction with customers.

Any such system should also integrate seamlessly with their website and enable customers to view, evaluate and purchase products.

Importantly, the website should enable them to quickly add news, alter sections and update content easily to keep ahead of the trends in education and ensure the company is always providing the latest information to their visitors. This ability to update their site will also keep customers returning and enable them to market their products to an ever wider audience.

Working on the CRM

Our consultation period involved a deep analysis of the processes that make up a typical day at LNfE and an audit of the current system discovered many spurious databases and Excel spreadsheets. Some contained customer data and some product information, but it was quickly discovered that in order to streamline processes, we needed to bring them all together.

We designed an interface and system that was simple yet powerful in its operation and would allow LNfE to operate their day to day operations from one place without having to resort to offline databases. By centralising their data in this way it enables them to track and measure processes accurately and helps them promote their products effectively.

Promotion can take the form of online and offline mailings, so we developed a system that would enable both. Our integrated mailer system means they can search via an intuitive 'tagging' generator to find the customers they wish to target then either download a mail merge file or email directly from the CRM system.

The Website

Once we'd got the CRM system specified, it was now time to see how we could leverage the websites marketing power to increase leads and conversions. To enable this we created a fully manageable website where most of the work of updating client details can be done by the client themselves - no administrators required.

Clients can order products or book events without needing to call the staff at LNfE and the whole process is automated.

Moreover, in order to keep costs down yet ensure there is no loss of functionality, all aspects of the site can be edited internally by their own staff. There is no need to involve us or any other IT assistance as it uses our incredibly simple editor and image manipulation tools to ensure the process is quick and easy.
