Hi, I absolutely agree with you, that it is very hard to advertise and sell something in interned, it needs a lot of time and efforts, but if we manage, we can good results.

Yes you can, but that won't give you the full picture. When dealing with greater discounts in the stores plus rounded up figures it doesn't really matter about a couple of fractions of percent, however your poor accountant will have a headache if totting up at the end of the year, especially if you have a large turnover.

The only *accurate* way to work out VAT is to add it to the gross amount.

Well spotted, Chris. Although this is a relatively small amount, it could amount to significant losses for small businesses when added to the additional administrative and resource costs for making these changes (twice). Then there's the probable hike to a higher rate of 18.5% (plus) which needs to be accounted for going forward. I will certainly pass on the message and hope that others will do the same. Many thanks.

It seems that the results you promote won't be seen by others, they're just saved for when you are logged in yourself.

However, comments may be a different matter. These are apparently seen by everyone so people could make positive/derogatory comments about companies and these would make their way into the public domain.

This is worrying news. Surely larger/richer companies could employ 'comsumers' to rate their site en mass. Where does this leave us small businesses? at the bottom I suspect.

Thank you for your brilliant free download DIYSEO. A breath of fresh air for such a newbie like me suffering from information overload as I prepare to build my first blog.

There are some really great give-aways in there too, some tricks of the trade that will help get you started quickly and achieve results on your own!

Great to have something explained so well, in simple terms and with a little twist of humour which always helps with anything technical! Many thanks and look forward to following further posts as I go.
