Wow, what a fortnight!
Two solid weeks of seminars and presentations and hopefully we’ve managed to get the point across about SEO to a whole new bunch of people.
If you were at the Britannia Hotel in Wolverhampton and listened to me rant on about how great the Internet is, then I thank you; it was absolutely fantastic to see you all there and I hope you come by this blog often to catch up on all the stuff I spoke about.
I’d also like to thank Sue Cartwright who helped spread the word about Twitter, my favourite social networking tool. For those in the audience, you’ll know that we both spoke about how popular it was and how it was revolutionising the way people use the Internet to network their business. Well, it’s not just us! In this item from BBC News, it appears it has seen its popularity grow 1000% in just one year!
But it’s not all geeks and nerds getting in on the act because the service has been heavily used by some media heavyweights. For example, Jonothan Ross, Stephen Fry and even Barack Obama are users and regularly update their profiles.
So with all the publicity about it, isn’t it about time you took the plunge and signed up? Of course it is and if you take on one of our SEO Services then we’d definitely suggest you join up to compliment the SEO work we do on your behalf.
For example, we’ve seen our visitor numbers increase over 1500% in one day, simply by posting on Twitter and suggesting people visit our blog. Obviously you’re not going to be able to simply post any old rubbish and suddenly attract a loyal following, but over time (and it doesn’t take that long) you can get enough momentum to ensure your information turns into real visitors to your site and then, more business.
Helping you help yourself
We know that social networking, Web 2.0 and all these fancy new methods of marketing may not be for everyone but we also know that it’s essential to understand them in order to make the most of your business, so we’re planning a whole host of e-books to help you understand just how important these sites are to your online presence.
The first book (which we’ve been promising for ages) is a guide to WordPress and blogging. It’ll show you in easy steps how to get your first blog up and running in no time. We’ll also explain how you should use it to build links and attract friends.
Stay tuned!
