An excellent event organised by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, extremely well attended and packed full of ‘need to know’ information for anyone keen to improve and optimise their presence on the world wide web. Everything you say here in this post about how essential it is to have a presence is absolutely spot on, I could not agree more. Interestingly, the majority of professionals and business owners at the seminar had little experience of social networking and I was pleased to share the massive benefits I am enjoying from my time invested on this relatively new area of business marketing. Particularly in finding my voice to promote my business principles, objectives and current activities on Twitter and promoting my full business profile with client recommendations and current work projects on Linkedin. For anyone needing further confirmation that this is something definitely worth investing time in, I have just received an order for a sizeable staff survey through my Linkedin account.
