We did!
OK, it’s snowing out and it’s cold enough to freeze your hand to the door knob, but in the midst of all this, our thoughts are surely going to be on looking for a fantastic escape to the holiday sun?
Well a few months ago we started on the new website for the ‘Saress’ – an item of beachwear that allows women to throw away the sarong that they’ve been struggling with for years and replace it with something they’d actually be proud to wear down the beach.
Apologies for using the terms “she/woman/ladies” during this blog post by the way. Although the site is aimed squarely at women, there’s nothing to stop men wearing these – I’m sure we’d love to see photos!
Blast over to www.saress.com and take a look at why we’re proud of the site. It’s been a fantastic success already and even though it’s only been live for a couple of days, it’s already taken hundreds of orders.
We’ve even put together a video so you can check out what you can buy there:
We’re proud of the site for a number of reasons. Firstly, it was designed based on customer feedback and with ease of use in mind. The first person to buy something from the site actually commented that it was the easiest thirty quid they’ve ever spent!
This is important – one of the rules of web design and execution is “Don’t make the customer think”. When I visit a website I want information, quickly. If I’m after something, I want the quickest way to get it without fuss and bother.
In the case of Saress, all customer details are remembered making it easy for customers to login and buy something quickly. We also give the option of taking credit card payments or if you prefer, PayPal – it’s the customer’s choice.
Popping to the shops or work during the day? No problem, tell the site where you want your Saress delivered and we’ll tell the post man.
Buying for a gift? Again, easy. Tell us what you’d like to be written on the card and we’ll do it. It’s all about the customer.
Importantly, all these functions were designed for the customer to their very requirements. If you just want to sell stuff online, you can very easily buy yourself a shopping cart off the shelf and go sell your widgets. If you want to give your customers an experience that they will relate to others and recommend, get your site done professionally, with bespoke functions that fit your niche.
If you’re after something like that, something special – give us a call, I’m sure we can recommend someone…
